How to gain blessings from God

God is omnipotent and omnipresent. He is everywhere and he watches mankind from heaven very closely about their life style, character, good deeds, bad deeds and much more. All the while, there are people who come to God for many needs and there are others who would like to dedicate lives to God and proclaim and praise His works. God appreciates every good deed and blesses it. But God works on love and it is clearly stated in Bible that God is Love 1 John 4:8. Therefore the first and foremost commandment of God is to love one another and another important commandment is to Love the Lord God with all your heart St.Luke 10:27.

When God’s commandments are quickly followed and when there is obedience to God, that is the first success for a believer. God accepts your obedience and would like to give you blessings. In order to receive continuous blessings from God, there is a requirement to meditate upon God daily and spend time with him and give all your praises. Not only this will be appreciated by God, but God takes hold of your life and then he begins His practice on you to work for you. He takes care of you and He will guard you and will give you all good things in life. It is up to you to realize that God wants to bless you and it is your duty to submit and surrender to God completely.

Jesus, I am true True Vine St.John 15:1-8 and we are His branches. So it is the duty of branches to follow the Vine. God the giver of all good gifts must be given complete praise and worship always so that, blessings are descended easily. The offering of more prayers and more worship and more praise, will surely bring down God’s presence and it will bring peace. Read Bible every day and meditate upon God’s word and pray daily. This will bring lot of comfort and peace and will enable you to draw more courage and confidence from God. Because working at home, office and managing children may some times cause you lot of disappointment and dissatisfaction in life. But as you look to God for His support, surely your family will receive more blessings and you will receive good courage when you read His word. Abiding in His word and service is really important because God appreciates those who are in regular attendance with him. God never agrees that you should spend time only for him. Because whenever you look to the lives of God’s servants, they had families, children and businesses, but all the while they were called the children of God. This is quite apparent in the life of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joseph and man more.

God wants you to stand near him and be obedient always and walk according to His virtues and morals. This is appreciated by God. Many agree to say that practice makes you perfect and this may be in work, cooking or in any other area. The point of emphasis is, that you must make it a good practice to read His word daily. Choose a chapter and read the chapter of Bible daily and understand about the chapter. Now meditate on the chapter and write down what you understand from the chapter. Now write down the morals that you understand from the chapter and how you can apply in your daily life.

There are many wise women in Bible who were chosen by God. So if you are a young mom or a retired mom, you can set aside certain time for God and start spending time with God. It is much easier to start with New Testament or with one of the books from Old Testament. Plan your bible reading and pray daily. As you take more and more interest, surely you will be successful as God will begin to give you more strength and courage to work for him. This will be your greatest investment which will add to your life and will double fold your blessings soon. The more you meditate the better will be your prospects and it will add to your physical strength. Soon you will be more active and energetic as you receive God's blessings. It is also important for you to understand that God works on your behalf and will give you the best always. It is only your duty to pray to him and stand upright in prayer so that you can receive God’s blessings.

Bible scriptures are quite clear in explaining mankind that God is always willing listen to the prayers of His children. There are many successful people in Bible who obeyed God in true reverence and praised Him always. Kings, queens and poor people were all equal in the sight of God and each were given a responsibility by God to reveal His miracles and experience His mighty works. Therefore blessings from Bible are abundant as long as you are in close association with God by practicing regular reading of Bible and understanding His word in true faith.

The Epistles written by St.Paul in New Testament are wonderful scriptures. When you begin with Acts and continue reading up to the revelation you will understand what God expects from you and how you can give your efforts obeying to the word of God.

When you begin to practice prayer, your family will follow you and together you can ask God for blessings. When you send prayer requests to God, God will bless you and will approve your prayer requests. Receiving the manna from heaven was experienced by Israelites while they were in desert and when there was no food. God works for His children and it is the prime most duty and responsibility of His children to have faith in Him and trust him always and experience God’s blessings. Life with God is like Day Spring and you can be assured that you will never be thirst as God will quench your thirst with the word of God.
